Discipline Policy
Any student may be dismissed temporarily or permanently from school for the following reasons:

1. Using narcotics, tobacco or alcohol in any form, or having them in his or her possession at school, or on any school function, or known to have them outside of school while enrolled at NACS
2.
Drinking alcoholic beverages, handling, possessing, or furnishing them to others
3.
Gambling, betting, possessing playing cards or other gambling devices
4.
Using profane language, or indulging in lewd conduct or suggestions, or displaying obscene literature or pictures
5.
Dishonesty, including but not limited to, theft, willful deception regarding violation of school regulations, cheating on exams or class work, or any phase of school
6.
Immoral conduct
7.
Willful destruction of any school property, any vandalism or illegal entry of school or church property
8.
Undermining the religious ideals of the school or the Seventh-day Adventist Church
9.
Committing any act that injures, degrades or disgraces a fellow student including verbal harassment or mental cruelty
10.
Leaving the school property without the parents or teacher’s permission or knowledge
11.
Any student unwilling to abide by the rules set forth by the teacher and school board

AT ITS OWN DISCRETION, THE SCHOOL BOARD RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISMISS ANY STUDENT WHOSE PROGRESS IS CONSISTENTLY UNSATISFACTORY, OR WHOSE CONDUCT IS MANIFESTLY OUT OF HARMONY WITH THE STANDARDS AND PRINCIPLES OF THE SCHOOL, OR WHOSE INFLUENCE IS FOUND TO BE OF A DETRIMENTAL NATURE.
